Fall Picnic "Food and Fun"

This is what I brought to our church family picnic.  My husband likes this orzo salad and it is so easy to make.

1 pound green beans, frozen
8 oz dried orzo pasta
1 cup corn, frozen
1/2 cup white or red wine vinegar
1/2 extra virgin olive oil
2 green onions, minced
2 tablespoons mustard
2 teaspoon dried tarragon or parsley or cilantro
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
2 cups cherry or grape tomatoes, halved

Cook orzo noodles as directed on package; rinse. In a small bowl, combine vinegar, olive oil, green onions, mustard, and tarragon.Season with salt and pepper. In a large bowl combine green beans, orzo noodles, corn, and tomatoes;. pour the dressing over it and mix. Refrigerate until ready to eat.

Deviled eggs and salami roll ups are quick and easy to make in a time crunch. You can use your own deviled egg recipe, place some cream cheese in the center of a salami slice, roll up and you're done.

This was a little more time consuming. Cheese cake with a raspberry swirl.

and brownies of course, what would a picnic be without brownies.

We had a wonderful time of fun and fellowship with friends and family at our church picnic.
