Chicken Cordon Blue

Here is another quick and easy dinner. Lilybeth always likes to help me cook. She got her apron and had her sister put up her hair and came into the kitchen eager to help.
You need : 6 chicken breast, thin
6 slices turkey bacon ( I like to buy the one without nitrates )
3 to 4 slices of your favored cheese
sea salt, fresh ground black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and
                 6 toothpicks

Season the chicken breast with the spices, place a slice of bacon and cheese on top and roll up. Use a toothpick to keep the rolled up chicken together. Lilybeth did a good job closing them with the toothpicks.

With a little olive oil brown the chicken in a pan on all sides. Add about 1 to 1 1/2 cup chicken broth and simmer on low for 15 to 20 minutes. Take the chicken out of the pan and place in a bowl.  Out of the broth in the pan make a gravy and place the chicken back into the pan. Keep warm until served.
